“Today, my wife and I took a ride on the rail between Belgrave and Lakeside stations on the popular Victorian train "Puffing Billy". I haven’t been on since a Primary School excursion many years ago. These days I am older and wiser, but still sat on the window ledge and hung my legs out the window along with the other kids.“

68/365 My Sub Skate Skills

“Today I enjoyed the hot weather at my family’s pool with all of my siblings. There was a board there called a "subskate" that I decided to do some tricks on. In the end, I found my skating skills to be "sub" par.“
This is one of the few good shots I managed to get with a timer. I maybe could have got something better with a few more goes but I just wanted to enjoy a good swim in the heat.

“From time to time I suffer from massive headaches. Today when one hit, I didn’t have my prescription handy to prevent it from getting worse … and it got a LOT worse. Worried that I wouldn’t have a chance to get my photo done I grabbed my wife’s new camera. The room was dark to keep my head from pounding which meant I had to take a noisy shot at ISO 3200. “

“Traditionally the sport is cricket, but today we decided on a "keepings off" style game of soccer. The secondary aim was to tire out my nephew so he would rest in the afternoon. We only succeeded in exhausting ourselves.“

“Santa brought me Guitar Hero III this year, I must have been VERY good. The pack contains a black Gibson model wireless controller "axe" and the Xbox360 game. Once assembled I immediately checked the guitar neck was straight and the button action was low enough. It certainly has a great clicking tone. I guess my (real) Fender strat will have to take a back seat for a few days.

I look forward to having my butt kicked by my brother Scott and James from work who have both had the game longer than me. I might have to go and get lessons!
